RAPTOR Golf was founded in January 2020 by a frustrated Cam Forrester who realized he reached a plateau.

He would never break 80 (or if he did, it was one of very few times in life he ever would) with his current steep out to in swing path. He also realized the only rounds in the mid 80s were when his short game was on fire that day; if his short game was not on fire, he could shoot anywhere from high 80s into the high 90s.

If he wanted to consistently break 80 and be in an exclusive "Oh, he's a good golfer" category, he knew he had to break thru the one thing that would make the biggest impact on his game. Getting rid of the OBs, or far off the fairway, or lost balls, or terrible approach shots in; that's where he was losing the most strokes no matter how good the short game or putting. And the only way to make that break thru was to completely change his club path from steep out to in, to a pro-like inside to out shallow path.

So Cam set to completely transform his swing from scratch.

It didn't take long for Cam to find out he was not able to retain the feeling of getting his right elbow externally rotated at the start of his downswing and throughout the rest of the downswing. No matter what Cam tried, his swing fixes would quickly disappear after a few holes and stay gone until he hit the range for hours to only find it quickly disappearing again during an actual round. 

After 2 years of development, many trials, and many errors; Cam finally brought his invention to life into first prototypes that were proven to work with others. After some more blood, sweat, and tears; the first official retail version was born.
